1 @ImranAmjad: IEnumerator implements IDisposable, so you're meant to call Dispose when you're finished with it. In particular, if the sequence you're using is generated from an iterator block, that allows finally blocks to be executed - so resources sevimli be released from there.

The power of the iterator pattern is that it allows us to abstract the operation of enumerating(iterating) a collection. Without it, we would have to write completely different code to iterate arrays and lists than we would for dictionaries and linked lists and C# IEnumerator nedir trees.
